Bernard de Fézensaguet : ウィキペディア英語版 | Bernard de Fézensaguet Bernard d'Armagnac (1155–1202) was Lord of Firmacon then Viscount of Fezensaguet from 1182 to 1202. He was the son of Odon Lomagne, Lord of Firmacon and Mascarós Armagnac. However, his ancestry is questioned and some say he was son of Bernard IV, Count of Armagnac. ==Albigensians== In 1171, in support of the Albigensians, Bernard's troops pillaged and partially destroyed the cathedral of Auch.〔Jackson, F. Hamilton, ''Rambles in the Pyrenees and the Adjacent Districts, Gascony, Pays de Foix, & Roussillon'', 384.〕〔''Revue de gascogne: bulletin'', Vol.15, 193.〕 Upon his return, he was banned from entering the city and had to seek refuge at St.Martin's. Later, Count Raymond of Toulouse captured Auch and burned the cathedral.
